Jennie focuses her practice in the areas of premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice defense, professional liability, and criminal defense.  Jennie represents businesses, doctors, lawyers, health professionals, psychologists, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals in matters ranging from general negligence to alleged criminal acts. Her experience also includes insurance coverage issues and bad faith claims.  In the area of criminal defense, her practice focuses primarily on government healthcare fraud and abuse. She also handles administrative disciplinary actions that frequently accompany criminal investigations.

Jennie has successfully tried over 35 cases in state and federal courts throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. She has received extensive trial practice training at the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Practice Institute in Boulder, Colorado and the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia. She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

Jennie is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Jennie is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute (DRI), and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.   She serves on the Steering Committee of Citizens for Better Judges, is a graduate of Ignite Louisville, and is a member of the Alumni Council Board of the Brandeis School of Law.
