Professional Profile

Charles practices in the areas of general civil litigation, including tort, premises liability, product liability, and insurance defense and coverage.
Before joining Blackburn Domene & Burchett, Charles served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General. In that role, Charles provided trial advocacy for the Commonwealth’s statutes, judges, and executive branch employees. He also served as the records custodian for the Office and has extensive experience with the Kentucky Open Records Act. Charles also served as counsel for the Kentucky Board of Registration for Professional Geologists.
During law school, Charles was an Articles Editor for Volume 11 of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law.
