Professional Profile

Matthew practices in the areas of general civil litigation, including tort, premises liability, product liability, and insurance defense and coverage.
Prior to joining Blackburn Domene & Burchett, Matthew had extensive practice in Kentucky workers’ Compensation law. In his prior practice, Matthew represented and successfully defended Kentucky employers in workers’ compensation claims across Kentucky and in a variety of fields, ranging from manufacturers to school districts. His workers’ compensation practice extended from mediations to litigation before the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
In law school, Matthew worked in a personal injury firm and received a legal externship from the Internal Revenue Service.
