Diane M. Laughlin
Diane practices general civil litigation, including tort and products liability, nursing home litigation, construction litigation, professional liability and premises liability, as well as insurance coverage and insurance defense. For the last 20 years Diane has defended businesses in litigation, including nursing homes, hotels, insurance companies, retailers, contractors and construction companies, and insurance carriers. She has also represented professionals, including dentists and physical therapists, proprietors of businesses and individuals who have been sued.
Diane has represented clients in all phases of litigation from pre-suit matters through trial and appeal. She practices in state and federal courts throughout Kentucky and has also handled matters at the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Diane has extensive trial experience, having tried more than 25 cases in her career and has successfully defended her clients in a broad variety of jury trials, including nursing home malpractice, premises liability and personal injury cases.
