Thomas E. Stevens
Thomas focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and defending national and regional businesses and retailers, motor carriers, insurance companies, and individuals. He is experienced defending clients across a wide variety of practice areas including tort and product liability, trucking and transportation, construction law, pharmacy law, education law, wrongful death, UIM/UM, and insurance defense. His experience includes defense of commercial vehicle accident cases at every stage including initial investigation, discovery, trial, and appeal to achieve a favorable result.
Thomas has represented clients in state and federal courts across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in federal court in Indiana. He has won many client victories, including successful advocacy on summary judgment, opposition to class action certification, and defense verdicts at trial. He has winning experience at the appellate level with favorable client outcomes in cases presented to the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Kentucky, and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
